    What's Up? Spoon Bar & Deli Art Exhibition, Bandarama

    Drive-Thru Soup Fundraiser , 3:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Buehler's Milltown, Wooster. Fundraiser will offer a soup dinner (soup, dinner roll and one bakery donut) for $12. Soup selection are chicken noodle, clam chowder, chili, broccoli noodle and vegan vegetable. Optional pottery bowls and plates donated by Jack Rogers will be available for an additional $12. Proceeds will assist A Whole Community Inc. (AWC) with its community food project.

    Art Exhibition , 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Spoon Bar & Deli, 144 W. Liberty St., Wooster. The official reveal of new gallery, featuring five local artists.

    Our Town Millersburg Part 2 , 7 p.m. Thursday, American Hall Venue. Three presenters will talk about the buildings, the people and significant events that shaped Millersburg’s past. WKLM will livestream the presentation. Take Millersburg memories and memorabilia to share.

    “CLIMATE" exhibit , through Sept. 28, Ashland University’s Coburn Gallery, 331 College Ave., Ashland. Exhibit is a regional juried exhibition featuring 25 Ohio-based artists. There will be an opening reception 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday. It is free and open to the public. The Coburn Gallery is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and noon-4 p.m. on weekends during the academic year.     Downtown Wooster Farmers' Market, 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, North Market Street between Liberty and North Streets. Come shop locally for the freshest picked organic produce, eggs, meat and poultry, honey, home-baked goods, fresh-cut flowers, wine tastings, artisanal crafts and more. There will be a free concert 9-11 a.m. at the pavilion.

    Fredericksburg Library Roll , 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Fredericksburg; 20th annual Bicycle Tour - 18/24/32 miles on the Holmes County Rail-Trail or 40/62 miles on one of the most challenging rides in Northeast Ohio – 4,200 climbing feet through the hills and valleys of Holmes and southern Wayne counties Commemorative long-sleeved T-shirts designed each year by artist Kristin Lorson are free with preregistration. Refreshment (lunch) stop includes fruit, drinks, sandwiches on homemade bread and home-baked cookies that give folks a reason to keep coming back. Fry pies and ice cream await you at the finish line.

    The History of the Teddy Bear , 1 p.m. Saturday, Shreve Presbyterian Church, 343 N. Market St., Shreve. A program presented County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes.

    The 65th annual Wayne County BANDARAMA , 7 p.m. Saturday, sponsored Triway High School Stadium. Hosted by Tri-County Educational Service Center. Cost $7.00 adult and $5.00 student tickets may be purchased at the gate beginning at 6 p.m. the night of the performance. This colorful musical presentation will begin with a combined band of over 350 student musicians marching onto the field in mass for the performance of the Star Spangled Banner conducted by Gary DeVault, retired Waynedale Band Director and former Tri-County ESC Fine Arts Consultant.

    Blessing of the Animals service , 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Christmas Run Park, Pavilion No. 3. Parking is nearby. Pets and their owners of all faiths are welcome. For the sake of everyone’s safety and enjoyment, all dogs must be on leash, and other pets must be in their appropriate carriers.     57th OHIO MART , Oct. 3-6, Stan Hywet Hall, 714 N. Portage Path in Akron. Hours for Ohio Mart are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday-Saturday and 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Sunday. All tickets include a self-guided Manor House tour, and the Textile Arts Show, presented by the Stan Hywet Needlework Guild.

    Clean energy program, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3186 Burbank Road, Wooster. Hallie Bowie, New Leaf Design architect and LEED Green associate, will talk about clean energy and the Inflation Reduction Act and how its goal is to make it more affordable for families to purchase energy efficient appliances, make home repairs and save money on utility bills. The program is sponsored by the Wooster Interfaith Justice Committee Climate Change Group and the Wayne County Sustainable Energy Network.

    Antique Festival historical presentations – 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, American Hall venue. Mark Boley, director of the Holmes Co. Historical Society, will present two programs. Short versions of the two programs will be presented back to back. Unusual Mysterious Holmes Co. and Holmes Co. the Rest of the Story. The festival is providing the programs as part of a yearlong bicentennial celebration. The program is free to the public.

    Wayne County Fair-Style BBQ Chicken Drive Thru , 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, 298 N. Market St., Shreve. Offered are 1/2 chicken for $8 and 1/2 chicken dinners for $12, which include green beans and ham, apple sauce, roll and butter. Hosted by the County Line Historical Society of Wayne/Holmes. Proceeds go to maintaining and operating museum.

    Lions Free Community Lunch , 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 16 at the Savannah Town Hall. Provided by Savannah-Crestview Lions.

    Clue at the Mansion , 4-6 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, Unsavory Characters of Holmes County. The series based on the CLUE game performed live at the Victorian House will include two sessions to include some unusual characters from the past. Trilby, Witch of Panthers Hollow, Tom Lions, Big Foot, Aliens, to name just a few. The cost is $15 per person and reservations can be made by calling the society office at 330-674-0022.
