COLDWATER – Organizers of the Branch County Baseball tournament held at the fairgrounds every summer have spent the past two seasons revamping that tournament in an effort to make it bigger, better and more inclusive.

In years past, the tournament was open to 12U baseball teams located in Branch County, however recent changes have opened the fairgrounds to both baseball and softball teams, ranging in age from 10U to 12U, with any teams in the surrounding area invited to compete.

Monday night, the new look tournament kicked off its 2024 slate with games in the 10U age bracket, as both baseball and softball teams met at the Branch County Fairgrounds with the ever-present Ferris wheel looming in the background, creating the perfect backdrop for the 2024 Branch County Fair Baseball/Softball Tournament.
