Owned by a nonprofit, the Echo Park Time Travel Mart uses the proceeds from the store to teach students creative writing. Along with the novelty items in the shop, they also sell copies of students' publications, in order to further contribute to the creative writing nonprofit.

Although we are unable to confirm that the Wooly Mammoth Chunks are actually meat from real Wooly Mammoths, we can confirm the uniqueness of the Echo Park Time Travel Mart.
