The most coveted U.S. street? It's here

VENICE — The No. 1 most "aspirational" street in the country is a lot closer to home than area residents would expect: Casey Key Road.

It beat out Laurel Way, in Beverly Hills, California, and Gordon Drive, Naples, in the opinions of 3,000 respondents to a survey by Agent Advice, a website that reviews real estate client relationship management systems, a news release stated.

The goal of the survey was to identify streets that are "symbols of status and sophistication … the epitome of luxury, representing the highest ideals of prestige and privilege," it noted.

"These are the streets where daydreams are set and where a mailbox can signify one has truly 'arrived,'" it stated. "Selling a property on one of these elite roads is a mark of success and expertise."

The top spot went to Casey Key Road, described as "a barrier island off the coast of Nokomis, known for its secluded and exclusive beachfront properties" that "often feature private beaches and stunning Gulf or Bay views," the release stated.

A 6-bedroom and 7.5-bath property on the key formerly owned by a CEO of Cadbury was listed for sale for $20 million in 2022. At the time it was the second-highest listing in the county.

Runner-up Laurel Way "is an exclusive enclave of luxurious estates featuring modern architecture, sprawling grounds and breathtaking vistas of L.A.," it stated.

In third place, Gordon Drive in Naples "overlooks a waterfront and attracts some of the nation's wealthiest residents," according to the release.

"Beachfront properties command multi-million dollar price tags as buyers compete for the coveted location and its stunning views," it stated.

No. 6 — West Forest Road, Vail, Colorado

No. 7 — Tuxedo Road, Northwest Atlanta, Georgia

No. 8 — Skyline Boulevard, Oakland, California

No. 9 — Upper Hollow Road, Dorset, Vermont

No. 10 — Nod Hill Road, Wilton, Connecticut.
