    Lenawee County Athlete of the Week for May 13-18

    MHSAA postseasons began and titles were clinched on the baseball diamond and the soccer pitch.

    Molly Brown, Addison track and field

    Brown led the Panthers as she won four regional titles at the Division 4 meet at Hillsdale College on Friday.

    She won the high hurdles with a personal best 14.86, the 100-meter with a season-best 12.60, the 200 (26.39) and the intermediate hurdles (47.04).

    Laci Patterson, Addison softball

    The Panthers got a huge week from Patterson as they beat Britton Deerfield and Vandercook Lake in doubleheader sweeps while splitting against East Jackson.

    Patterson had 10 hits, three home runs, a triple, three doubles, 15 RBIs and 18 runs.

    Sean Parker, Adrian baseball

    Parker led the Maples to back-to-back SEC White titles with a sweep of Tecumseh before taking the Maple Invite title as he pitched seven innings against Madison and Sand Creek.

    Parker tossed 14 innings this week, giving up three hits, no runs, no walks and striking out 19. He added five hits with a double, four RBIs and swiped two bases.

    Tatum Borton, Adrian soccer

    The Maples won their first SEC White title in program history, and it was Borton leading the way for Adrian on the pitch.

    She scored four times in an 8-1 win against Ypsilanti before scoring all four goals against Tecumseh in a 4-0 win.

    Matthew Canales, Adrian track

    Canales helped the Maples win back-to-back regional titles as he won the 800 and was part of the winning 4x800 team.

    Canales ran the 800 in 1:54.07 while he led the Maples to a 8:05.48 in the 4x800 with Chase Nyack, Moises Salazar and Braylon Petty.

    Bella Treloar, Blissfield softball

    Treloar wasn't needed in the circle for the Royals against Hillsdale, but he did shut out Monroe SMCC in a doubleheader split.

    She tossed eight innings total against SMCC, striking out 16 and giving up five hits, three walks and no runs. She had four hits, two doubles, two RBIs and five runs as well during the week.

    Aubrey Lauer, Clinton soccer

    Lauer helped the Redwolves clinch a fourth-straight LCAA title as she scored an astounding 18 goals in two games.

    She scored 10 times in Clinton's 12-0 win against Dundee after scoring eight in a 9-0 win against Hillsdale.

    Louie Della-Badia, Clinton baseball

    Della-Badia was impressive on the mound as he led the Redwolves to splits against Hudson and Tecumseh during the week.

    He tossed complete games against both, pitching 14 innings and giving up one unearned run on seven hits and a walk while striking out 11.

    Lucas Dopp, Madison golf

    Dopp dominated Rustic Glen on Saturday to win the Clinton Invite medalist honor.

    Dopp shot a program-record one-under par 71.

    Emmry Ross, Onsted track and field

    Ross had another stellar day on the track, winning four regional titles at the Division 3 meet at Madison.

    She won the 400 with her season-best 56.62 while also taking the 800 (2:13.79), 1,600 (4:58.73) and the 3,200 (11:46.78).

    JT Hill, Onsted baseball

    The Wildcats swept their LCAA doubleheader against Ida and split with Manchester and two games at the Al Glick Invite.

    Hill led the way at the plate with five hits, a triple, double, three RBIs and three runs.

    Wendy Ketola, Tecumseh softball

    Ketola hit the ball all over the field this week as Tecumseh topped Adrian, Temperance Bedford and Dexter in doubleheader sweeps.

    She had 12 hits with two home runs, three triples, two doubles, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
