    Lenawee County track and field MHSAA state qualifiers

    There were 113 Lenawee County athletes who qualified for the MHSAA track and field state championships, 25 of them won regional titles and one team took home a title.

    All 12 schools will be represented, here's a look at who is heading to state.

    Regional Champs

    There were 21 regional titles won, eight of which were split between two girls.

    Addison's Molly Brown won the Division 4 regional titles at Hillsdale College on Friday by taking the 100-meter, 200, high hurdles and intermediate hurdles.

    The other was Onsted's Emmry Ross as she won the Division 3 titles at Madison in the 400, 800, 1,600 and 3,200.

    The Adrian boys team won its second-straight Division 2 regional title led by Matthew Canales as he won the 800 and was joined by Chase Nyack, Moises Salazar and Braylon Petty to win the 4x800.

    The Onsted boys took three Division 3 titles at Madison with Mitchell Hiatt winning the 3,200, Mason Chesser winning the high jump and Cannon Ruttkofsky, Joey Denkins, Griffin Amthor and Aidan Paquin winning the 4x100.

    The Madison girls won a pair of relays at its home Division 3 regional with Tatum Wilson, Madaline Goldmeyer, Nevaeh Parish and Jillian Kendrick taking the 4x200 and Amaris Benard joining Wilson, Goldmeyer and Kendrick to win the 4x400.

    Clinton's Mason Brodie won both throwing events at Madison while Hudson's McKenzie Daugherty won the girls discus at Madison. In the Division 4 meet at Hillsdale College, Sand Creek's Erin Alexander won the pole vault.

    Tecumseh's AJ Bryan won the 100 at the Division 2 meet in Chelsea. Back at Madison, Blissfield's 4x800 team of William Marks, Evan Vore, Ian Waddell and Jackson Vandenbusche took the title.

    State Qualifiers

    Addison

    Joining Brown for Addison will be Stephanie Hernandez in the 1,600 and 3,200, Sayra Hernandez in the 800, Taylor Jezierski in the 100, Caroline Yoder in the discus, Kendalyn Perry in the pole vault and Kayli Trumble and Lilah Davis joining Jezierski and Sayra Hernandez in the 4x200. Lucas Morse was the lone boys qualifier in the pole vault.

    Adrian

    Along with Canales, Petty qualified in the 1,600 and 3,200 to go with the 4x800 while Isaiah Fox qualified in both hurdle events and Radon Love qualified in the shot put.

    For the girls, Sophy Skeels made it in the 800 and 1,600 while Ayda Skeels qualified in the 1,600 and 3,200.

    Blissfield

    Along with the 4x800, Vandenbusche qualified in the 800 while Layla Smith did it in the 100 and long jump and Hope Miller qualified in the 800 and 1,600.

    Smith, Reanne Smith, Reilan Sayler and Michaiah Franklin qualified in the 4x100 while Natalie Benitez, Miller, June Miller and Hailey Sills did it in the 4x800.

    Britton Deerfield

    Aubrey Appleman made it in two events as she qualified for the Division 4 800 and 1,600 while the team of Cayden Allhouse, Gabe Bishop, Maddox Dudek and Carson Johnson qualified in the boys 4x100.

    Clinton

    Joining Brodie for the Clinton boys will be Elijah Turner in the high jump and Ben Benschoter in the long jump.

    For the girls, Summer Chadler and Bella Bannon both made it in the high jump while Samantha Coots qualified in the 800 and Allison Bowles in the 3,200. Chandler also qualified in the 4x100 with Katelyn Baker, Madelyn McGraw and Ashlynn Phillips

    Hudson

    Naika Rath had a strong day at Madison, qualifying in the 100, 200, 400 and long jump while teammates Ellie Loar made the shot put, Emmalin Rodifer made the high jump and Annabelle Czeiszperger made the pole vault.

    Alex Czeiszperger made it in the boys pole vault.

    Lenawee Christian

    The Cougars girls qualified in all four relays. Emma Crowley, Emerson Holsopple, Ila Stewart and Ally Day qualified in the 4x100 and Holsopple, Stewart, Izzy Brooks and Gigi Masters did it in the 4x200, 4x400 and 4x800.

    Masters also qualified in the 100 and Brooks did it in the 800 while Sophie Samonek qualified for the discus. Brenner Powers made it in the 100, 200 and long jump, Easton Boggs made it in the shot put and Blake Drogowski, Sam Lutz and Paul Towler joined Powers to make it in the 4x100.

    Madison

    Wilson, Goldmeyer, Parish and Kendrick also qualified in the 4x100 while Kendrick made it individually in the 100 while Parish made it in the long jump.

    Jalonn Borders made it in the high hurdles and was joined by Dominic Velasquez to make it in the 4x100.

    Morenci

    Leah Rorick made it in the 400 and high hurdles along with qualifying alongside Emma Willams, Jillian Borton and Kiana Castillo in the 4x200 and Williams, Colbie Ekins and Castillo in the 4x400. Williams, Borton, Castillo and Colbie Ekins made it in the 4x100. Williams also qualified in the 100.

    Beau Shaffer made it in the boys 3,200 and in the 4x800 with Van Ekins, Michael Rising and Zachary Martinez. Kylan Lester, Rising, Ekins and Wyatt Berger qualified in the 4x100.

    Onsted

    Ruttkofsky, Paquin and Amthor were joined by Connor Kish to qualify for the 4x200 while Hunter VanZandt, Ruttkofsky, Chesser and Logan Irwin made it in the 4x400 and VanZandt, James Bayes, Hiatt and Ethan Grulke qualified in the 4x800.

    Paquin also qualified for the 100 and intermediate hurdles while Hiatt made it in the 1,600.

    Sand Creek

    Connor Pickens, Corbyn Pinsoneault, Josh Russell and Ivan Wilkinson made it in the 4x200 for the Aggies boys while the girls got a relay in the 4x100 with Tanana Emmendorfer was joined by Alexander, Anahi Ramirez and Kayla Meszaros.

    Emmendorfer also made it in the 200, 400 and discus while Elise Wilkinson made it in the long jump and Harley Sharrock qualified in the boys shot put.

    Tecumseh

    Bryan, Max Danley, Declan Cornish and Alex Lichtner qualified in the 4x100 and the 4x200 before Ryan Mossburg joined Bryan, Cornish and Danley to make it in the 4x400.

    Danley also qualified in the intermediate hurdles, Cornish made it in the high jump, Bryan McCutcheon made it in the discus and Amaria Brown qualified for the girls high jump.

    The state championships will be held on Saturday, June 1 with Adrian and Tecumseh competing in the Division 2 meet at Hamilton; Blissfield, Clinton, Hudson, Madison, Onsted and Sand Creek in the Division 3 meet at Kent City and Addison, Britton Deerfield, Lenawee Christian and Morenci in Division 4 at Hudsonville.
