The Colorado Christian men's golf team continues to reach heights the program has never seen before.

On Thursday, the Cougars advanced to match play at the NCAA Division II Championship for the first time in program history. That run continued Friday at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Fla.

First the Cougars beat Central Oklahoma 4-1 in the quarterfinals to advance to the semifinals where they took care of business against Oklahoma Christian 4-1.

Colorado Christian, which went into match play as the No. 6 seed, took down the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds in the tournament.

At the Division-II national tournament, match play is also played as medal play. Which means the scoring is by strokes, not number of holes won.

The Cougars got wins from all five of their golfers, including two dominant wins by RMAC Golfer of the Year Adam Duncan. He won by four shots in the quarterfinals before winning by six in the semifinals.

Freshman Bradley Mulder and sophomore Peyton Jones also won twice while Xavier Bighaus and Dylan Arthur split their matches.

Colorado Christian will face off with North Georgia on Saturday for the Division-II national title.
