Great American Beer Festival tickets on sale Wednesday

Beer drinkers of Colorado, the time has come. Grab your pretzel necklaces and pint glasses, and credit card — because 2024 Great American Beer Festival tickets are on sale Wednesday.

It's the 42nd anniversary of the popular event.

Festival goers will get a chance to sample some 2,000 beers by 500 breweries nationwide at the annual event with three sessions at the Colorado Convention Center from Oct. 10-12. Organizers dropped the Saturday night session for 2024.

Tickets are $85 for the Thursday session, and $95 for the Friday and Saturday sessions. The 3-day pass is $220. PAIRED only tickets for Thursday or Friday are $129 and PAIRED+GABF tickets for Thursday or Friday are $199.

PAIRED tickets allow beer drinkers and foodies to treat themselves to a taste sensation of beers and beverages not found on the festival floor matched with small bites custom-designed by an award-winning culinary team, according to GABF. The PAIRED event is located in an intimate setting off the festival floor and through an exclusive entrance.

All tickets will be only available online at axs.com or on the AXS mobile app.

Association members began picking up tickets Tuesday in the pre-sale event.

The event also brings together more than 200 judges to sample the 10,000 beers submitted for the competition.

What to know if you go to the GABF:

• GABF General Session tickets: Unlimited 1-oz. samples of beer, including non-alcohol and gluten-free beer, hard cider, cocktails, and hard seltzer/soda
• VIP Experience: PAIRED + GABF tickets: Unlimited 2-oz. samples of PAIRED-exclusive craft beers and uniquely designed small bites. Includes GABF General Session ticket benefits
• Thursday session time - 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Friday session time - 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
• Saturday session time - 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
