Where good news shines

The Colorado preps fall season is upon us.

Time for some polls.

The CHSAA preseason coaches poll for the boys golf season was released Monday, and these programs earned the top rankings: Cherry Creek (Class 5A), Cheyenne Mountain (4A), Kent Denver (3A) and Resurrection Christian (2A).

The softball poll showed Chatfield (5A), Holy Family (4A) and Eaton (3A) atop the preseason poll.

The field hockey and flag football polls are scheduled to be released Tuesday, according to CHSAAnow.com.
