Each round of the BMW Championship, The Denver Gazette will pick the most impactful hole at Castle Pines Golf Club:

    Friday

    Hole: No. 16

    Yards: 226

    Stroke average: 3.05

Notable: The demanding par 3 had plenty of moments on Friday. Denver native Wyndham Clark almost made an ace. Adam Scott put it within three feet during his round of 63. Max Homa hit the ball long and left into the grandstand. Austin Eckroat put the ball in the water and then almost holed his third shot for par. Plenty of action happened on a hole where there were more bogeys (16) than birdies (15). The stroke average was just over par but on a day where scoring was low, the 16th was not easy.
