    Where good news shines

Shyra James scored three goals Thursday in a 5-1 win over Wyoming at Prentup Field to become Colorado's all-time leading goal scorer.

James came in as a sub in the second half and put in three goals in a span of 10 minutes, 24 seconds, to surpass Nikki Marshall's previous record of 42 career goals. James' hat trick was the seventh all-time by a Buff and the first for Colorado since Tatum Barton scored three goals against Missouri in 2018.

Marshall, who was in attendance Thursday night, scored 42 goals from 2006-09. The Hall of Fame Buff was also a volunteer assistant coach for the Buffs in James' junior season.

The Buffs return to action Sunday, hosting Michigan at noon on ESPN+.
