A company called Waste Removal USA recently surveyed 3,000 US travelers for the sake of asking questions about which towns and cities across the country have the 'most pristine' streets. While Savannah, Georgia's Broughton Street ended up ranking as the 'most pristine' street nationwide, a well-known road in a popular Colorado mountain town wasn't far behind.

According to the results of the survey, Breckenridge's South Main Street ended up ranking second overall among America's 'most pristine' streets. Known for colorful 'Victorian-era' buildings, local shops, art galleries, restaurants, and bars, a walk down this street is sure to be entertaining. Plus, it comes with a great view of the not-so-distant mountains.

A single other Colorado street was listed among the 'top 100' most pristine streets nationwide, according to those surveyed – Main Street in Frisco, ranking 68th and located in Summit County along with Breckenridge.

There's no doubt about it – the results of this survey are sure to raise some debate among Coloradans likely to insist many other small towns around the state have 'pristine streets' and it's true – many other spots could have been included on this list. But keep in mind that those surveyed in a nationwide poll are probably visiting the state as tourists, likely ending up in popular spots for out-of-towners to frequent. With that in mind, it's no surprise that Breckenridge's South Main Street was a top pick, given it's widespread appeal among all ages and its convenient location in the Central Mountains.

numerous mountain towns have main streets equivalent, or better, than Breck. I'd say the amount of Texans in Breck at any given time make it less than pristine. something tells me the ranking is catering to Brecks popularity in Texas and beyond.
