Denver airport train maintenance will impact travelers on Oct. 1-3

Planned maintenance at Denver International Airport will impact the way travelers navigate the concourses in the late evening and early morning next week.

Denver airport officials on Friday said the concourse train system will undergo scheduled preventative maintenance, which will shut down service between the main terminal and Concourse A between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1, and Wednesday, Oct. 2, ending early Thursday morning, Oct. 3.

This will mean that all air-travelers will need to use the A Bridge to connect from the terminal to Concourse A. The A Bridge Security checkpoint will be the only option for travelers to go through TSA screening during this time.

Train service between Concourse A, B and C will not be impacted by the scheduled maintenance.

For passengers whose flights are arriving at the airport, they will be able to use the train each night to travel back to the terminal, but that service will shut down around 10:50 p.m. when scheduled maintenance begins. At that time, travelers will need to take the train to Concourse A and then walk across the A Bridge to return the terminal.

Security checkpoints are always closed between 1 and 3 a.m. daily, the airport said.
