Cam Fleming is back with the Broncos.

The journeyman NFL offensive tackle has been signed to the practice squad, the team announced on Tuesday. Fleming started in 20 of 26 games over three previous seasons with the Broncos (2021-23). His arrival coincides with injury unknowns facing Denver’s offensive line ahead of Week 6 against the Chargers.

Starting right tackle Alex Palczewski reportedly suffered a high ankle sprain last Sunday in a win over the Raiders. Matt Peart and Frank Crum are the only remaining offensive tackles on the roster. Mike McGlinchey (knee) remains on injured reserve.

Broncos get Perry, make other moves

The Broncos on Tuesday made a number of other moves. That included a source telling The Denver Gazette that they have agreed to sign wide receiver A.T. Perry to the practice squad, giving them another deep threat. Perry, who was waived by New Orleans last Friday, caught 12 passes for 246 yards for a 20.5 yard average as a rookie last season for the Saints.

In other moves that were announced by the Broncos, they signed linebacker Levelle Bailey off the practice squad, signed center Dieter Eiselen and wide receiver Kaden Davis to the practice squad, placed guard Will Sherman on practice squad/injured and released running back Salvon Ahmed and cornerback Quinton Newsome from the practice squad.

Bailey, an undrafted rookie from Fresno State had been elevated for the the previous two games from the practice squad, playing a total of 24 snaps. Eiselen is a fifth-year pro with 24 career regular season NFL game appearances. Davis spent time on Denver’s practice squad previously this season as well as in 2022.
