    Denver weather: Temperatures rebound into the 80s Wednesday

    After a mostly cloudy day Tuesday, skies clear out and temperatures rebound into the 80s on Wednesday around metro Denver and the northern Front Range.

    Today Denver residents can expect sunny skies, with a high near 81, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. South southwest winds around 6 mph will blow, becoming calm into the afternoon.

    Some smoke and haze will linger in the air in northern Colorado today, but will shift onto the northeastern Plains throughout the day.

    Tonight it'll be mostly clear, with a low around 52. Northeast winds between 5 to 7 mph are forecast, becoming south southwest after midnight.

    Continued above-average temperatures are in store for Thursday before a slight shift Friday. Dry and low relative humidity conditions will persist through the rest of the week.

    Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 84. South southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the morning.

    Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming northeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 15 mph.

    Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.

    Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 71.
