The Rockies' season featured 101 of them, but it was not a total loss.

Center fielder Brenton Doyle, third baseman Ryan McMahon and shortstop Ezequiel Tovar were named finalists for the 2024 Rawlings Gold Glove award at their positions Tuesday.

The Rockies were exceptional with their glove work.

Doyle is the National League's reigning Gold Glove winner in center. His 15 outs above average in 2024 were tied for second among all outfielders, and his 11 defensive runs saved tied Michael Toglia for the team lead. The 26-year-old was named the team's Heart and Hustle Award winner.

McMahon has been a Gold Glove finalist four years running. His 10 defensive runs saved at third base were tied for the second in the big leagues, according to an MLB press release. He also led the National League with 436 chances and 323 assists and tied for second with 33 double plays. The 29-year-old earned his first All-Star nod in 2024.

Tovar has been a Gold Glove finalist in both of his full big-league seasons. This year he finished second among shortstops with a .988 fielding percentage, which tied his rookie-season mark that ranks as the second-best percentage in team history. Troy Tulowitzki's .991 in 2011 is the record. The 23-year-old Tovar led all players with 435 assists.

Gold Glove winners are scheduled to be announced at 6:30 pm. Sunday, Nov. 3.
