Where good news shines

Colorado State University Pueblo’s Marius Dosiere was named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference men's golfer of the week Thursday.

Dosiere and the ThunderWolves traveled to Monterey Bay, Calif., to compete in the Otter Invitational hosted by Cal State Monterey Bay last week. On the par-72 course, Dosiere shot a 4-under-par 212 to tie for a second-place finish.

In the first two rounds, the junior shot an even-par 72, then a 1-over 73. He caught fire in round three, shooting a 5-under 67 to close out the tournament.

The ThunderWolves finished in sixth place at the tournament. It was the team's final event of the fall season.
