DMPS student falls two stories from Lincoln High School stairwell

A Lincoln High School student fell from a third-floor stairwell on Thursday morning, according to a district email sent to parents.

The incident happened at about 10:40 a.m. when the student fell from the third floor to the first floor. The student was taken to a medical facility to meet their parents, the district said.

"We are working with emergency personnel and our district public safety team to learn more specifics about what occurred," the email from principal Paul Williamson said.
