Did you know... where this building is located and its history in Perry? This is the former Rex and Foxy then the Roxy Theatre, and then the Dallas Theatre, located at 1300 2nd St. Later it was home to various real estate and insurance offices. The building was built in 1912 and now has a plaque adding it to the National Registry of Historic Places. I'm old enough to remember going to the Dallas Theatre as a boy. If you have a chance, you can walk around Perry's downtown and try to find all of the historic building's plaques.
