The 2024 Iowa State Fair officially holds the record for the highest fair turnout, with more than 1 million people visiting this year.

A total of 1,182,682 people attended this year's fair, beating the all-time record set in 2019 by about 12,000 people.

This year's Iowa State Fair had a number of records broken including the weight for the biggest boar or single-day attendance .
