Bud Light drops college football cans. See which Iowa teams made the cut

Ahead of the football season, Iowa State and Iowa fans who are 21 years or older can represent their team while sipping on a Bud Light.

Bud Light is bringing back its "biggest collection of college team packaging yet," Anheuser-Busch announced Tuesday . And of course, one of the greatest rivalries in college sports is included in the campaign.

You also can win a trip to any away game of your choice by purchasing the college series Bud Light. The packaging on each Bud Light features a QR code. Fans can scan that for more information on how to win the trip so long as they are 21 years or older.

When is the CyHawk football game?

The 2024 CyHawk football game between Iowa State and the Hawkeyes is at Kinnick Stadium at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 7.

Both teams open their seasons Saturday — Iowa State plays North Dakota at 2:30 p.m. and Iowa plays Illinois State at 11 a.m.
