Updating Iowa State rankings in college football polls ahead of Baylor matchup

The latest college football polls have been released, and Iowa State is on the rise.

Iowa State continued to move up in the polls following Saturday's 20-0 victory over Houston. The ISU defense came up big in that one, forcing three turnovers in the shutout. Quarterback Rocco Becht tossed for 153 yards and a score, Abu Sama found paydirt as well and ran for 101 yards on the night. Jayden Higgins caught a touchdown pass for the sixth straight game.

The Cyclones are now set for a matchup with Baylor on Oct. 5 at Jack Trice Stadium.
