Charter Communications unveiled new pricing and customer service changes for its Spectrum brand on Monday it says are aimed to prove its commitment to customers and reliability.

Beginning Tuesday, the cable TV, broadband and mobile services provider will offer new bundles and pricing, increased internet speeds and offer credits for service outages.

Spectrum will charge as low as $30 a month for its 500 Megabits-per-second internet plan or as low as $40 a month for its 1 Gig internet service when either are bundled with two mobile lines or cable TV. Those prices are guaranteed up to three years.

In addition, the company is increasing download speeds for current customers at no additional cost, with internet service going to 400 Mbps and ultra internet to 600 Mbps.

Existing customers can call (855) 860-9068 to check the new pricing or to see how switching to Spectrum Mobile can save them money with their current packages.

At a time when cable companies are losing video customers to cord-cutting, Charter Spectrum will add at least eight streaming services for free for video customers that are nearly $60 per month of retail TV value. In recent months, the company has added Disney+, ESPN+ , Paramount+ and Vix and will soon offer Max, Discovery+, AMC+ and BET+.

In a new campaign promoted as “Life Unlimited”, Spectrum is also doubling down on its customer service and its goal to keep customers connected 100% of the time and promptly resolve any issues.

The company pledges to fix any service disruptions quickly, including dispatching a technician the same day if a customer requests it prior to 5 p.m. For outages that last more than two hours, a full day’s credit will be offered, with the exceptions being power outages, weather and overnight scheduled maintenance.

“This new commitment to our customers goes beyond words; it is about action,” said Cliff Hagan, Executive Vice President, Customer Operations for Charter Communications. “If we are charging for a service, it should work all the time; if it doesn’t, our customers should trust that we’ll make it right.”
