    Joshua Tree National Park road closures to begin Oct. 28. Here's what to know

    Joshua Tree National Park interior roads will be partly closed for road rehabilitation and sealing starting Oct. 28, which will likely last until Nov. 11. Roads will be closed one at a time for as long as a day.

    Visitors can use alternate roads to reach their destination, but should expect to encounter detours and traffic delays, park staff said. Access to certain trailheads, restrooms, and other facilities may also be temporarily affected.
