If you grew up or live in metro Detroit, especially the Woodward corridor, you either love or hate the Woodward Dream Cruise, the annual car event that draws as many as 40,000 vehicles and 1 million visitors and attendees .

And, even if you love it, you've likely had to navigate the insane traffic, piles of cars parked on side streets and swarms of people thronging a few miles of well-traveled roadway.
