    Mudgie's Deli and Wine Shop in Corktown next monthly brunch services is set

    Longtime Corktown eatery Mudgie's Deli and Wine Shop will host its next monthly brunch menu at 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 25.

    Brunch will be served inside and on the patio.

    Guests can expect signature Mudgie's sandwiches — the Gutty, Stinson and Sho'Nuff — topped with a fried egg. These Mudgie's sandwiches include other ingredients, such as salami, pastrami, peppered ham, bacon and turkey. Also planned are Mudgie's rotating variations on eggs Benedict served on a croissant and side orders of grits.

    More recently, Mudgie's added vegan eggs Benedict to its brunch menu lineup. According to the deli, Mudgie's vegan Benedict menu features a "plant-based poached egg complete with a runny yolk, sliced vegan "ham," creamy vegan hollandaise sauce, all on a thick English muffin. "

    On Saturdays, Mudgie's has its DJs on the patio event, and its tiki bar stays open through sunset. DJs will be on the patio from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturdays through September.
