Michigan Lottery player wins $1 million Powerball prize

A Michigan Lottery player won $1 million in Saturday's Powerball drawing , according to the Michigan Lottery .

The winning numbers from the Saturday, Aug. 24 drawing are 5, 15, 21, 24 and 43 . The Powerball was 17 . The Power Play multiplier was 3x .

The Michigan Lottery player matched the winning numbers to win the $1 million prize.

The winning ticket was sold at the Family Fare supermarket (Store No. 0642) in Traverse City.

Saturday's estimated jackpot was $35 million ($17.2 million cash value). However, no one matched the five white balls and Powerball, so the jackpot for Monday's drawing is expected to be $44 million ($21.9 million cash value).
