Monday Night Football game today Week 2: Eagles vs. Falcons time, TV channel, streaming

    2024-09-16

Monday Night Football schedule continues with Week 2 of the 2024 NFL season , featuring the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons . The game will be broadcast and streamed on ESPN, with the livestream on ESPN+ , and Jason Kelce will make a guest appearance in the TV booth.

The Eagles are without Pro Bowl receiver A.J. Brown, who tweaked a hamstring in Friday's practice and was ruled out Sunday , but have plenty of offensive playmakers in quarterback Jalen Hurts, receiver DeVonta Smith and running back Saquon Barkley, making his home Eagles debut.

Eagles vs. Falcons takes place at 8:15 p.m. in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field. It pits the Eagles against quarterback Kirk Cousins remarkably for the third straight year in Philly in Week 2 in primetime. This time however, Cousins leads the Falcons, signing in free agency after six seasons on the Minnesota Vikings.

The Eagles have had Cousins' number recently, winning last year in Week 2 on Thursday night, 34-28, despite four pass TDs from Cousins, and won 24-7 on Monday night in 2022's Week 2. But he now has Bijan Robinson to hand off to.

The Eagles are 1-0 after defeating the Green Bay Packers, 34-29, in Brazil on Friday in Week 1. The Falcons are 0-1 having lost 18-10 at home to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
