U.S. Sen. JD Vance of Ohio, who is Republican former President Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate, will be back in Michigan next week delivering remarks in Auburn Hills.

Vance was most recently in Michigan this week, speaking in Traverse City on Wednesday. Trump was in Michigan on Friday, speaking in Walker in west Michigan and was scheduled to hold a town hall at Macomb Community College in Warren.

Michigan is a key swing state in this year's presidential election, in which Trump faces Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris.

More: Polls show Harris with narrow lead over Trump in Michigan. It's still a virtual toss-up.

The Trump campaign said Vance is scheduled to speak at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Visioneering, an aerospace industry supplier, and talk about American manufacturing, including the auto industry, as well Trump's plans to cut taxes for corporations that produce products in the U.S.

The event is open to the public but attendees must register at https://event.donaldjtrump.com/events.
