    Southeast Michigan braces for frost with temps expected to dip into 30s

    Look out for some cold nights this week, and maybe even frost tonight and Wednesday night.

    Southeast Michigan will likely see dry conditions this week, with highs in the 60s Tuesday through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service in White Lake. Nights will be cool, with temperatures dropping into the 30s and 40s.

    The forecast includes a chance of frost Tuesday night and Wednesday night, according to the agency. Frost conditions may occur north of metro Detroit, in the areas of Flint, Howell, Lapeer, and Saginaw, the agency said.

    Frost can affect plants, especially vegetable plants, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac . If you're looking to protect your garden, consider covering your plants.

    Conditions are expected to warm up later this week, rising to highs in the upper 70s on Friday, according to The Weather Channel.
