How to watch 'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' for free in 2024

Fans of the Halloween classic "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will have two days where they can watch if for free in October.

Apple TV+ is offering the Peanuts holiday special for free to nonsubscribers Oct. 19 and Oct. 20.

The subscription streaming service acquired "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" several years ago as part of a corporate deal after the 1966 TV movie aired for decades on network television. The deal also included holiday favorites "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas."

In "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," Charlie preps for a party, Snoopy sets his sights on the Red Baron and Linus patiently awaits a pumpkin patch miracle.

Apple TV+ will also offer "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" for free Nov. 23 and Nov. 24 and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" for free Dec. 14 and Dec. 15.

"A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" features Peppermint Patty inviting everyone to Charlie Brown's for Thanksgiving, even though he is already going to celebrate at his grandmother's. Snoopy decides to cook his own version of a Thanksgiving meal with help from his friends.

Finally, in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" Charlie Brown is feeling down about the commercialism of Christmas, so Lucy recruitshim to be the director of the gang's holiday play. Charlie must then try to overcome his friends' preference for dancing over acting, find the perfect tree and discover the true meaning of Christmas.
