Aidan Hutchinson celebrated a Detroit Lions win Sunday afternoon like most other fans: On the couch, with his family, in front of the television.

Hutchinson, who had immediate surgery a week ago after breaking two bones in his left leg , was smiling after the Lions ' 31-29 road victory over the Minnesota Vikings despite being far away from his teammates.

His "House of Hutch" Instagram account included three pictures , with Hutchinson, his two sisters, mom and dad in two of them, and another of the TV with Jared Goff and Dan Campbell celebrating the win.

"Game day looked a little different today but counting our blessings and counting ANOTHER LIONS WIN!!!!!" the caption said.

Hutchinson, who entered the week as the NFL's sack leader, was placed on injured reserve and is expected to miss the rest of the season . But the team is keeping hopes alive of his possible return for Super Bowl 59 in February , should the Lions advance to the Big Game for the first time ever .

The injury, surgery to repair a broken tibia and fibula, typically takes 4-6 months to recover .
