San Elizario soccer players honored by Texas High School Coaches Association

Several San Elizario High School soccer players were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Super Elite Team in Class 4A.

On the boys side, Angel Valdez was named Most Valuable Player and Stephen Chairez was named Goalkeeper of the Year.

Marco Legarda and Matthew Hernandez were also honored. All of the boys players played a significant role in the team winning the Class 4A state title, the program's fourth.

On the girls side, Dyvette Trejo was named to the team. She helped the team reach the Region 1-4A semifinals.
