Unbeaten El Paso lightweight boxer Stephanie Han will face her toughest oppnent to date on July 27 at the El Paso County Coliseum.

Han, who is 8-0 and ranked No. 4 in the world by the World Boxing Association, will face 7-2-1 Miranda Reyes of Houston for the WBA intercontinental title.

"It's going to be the toughest fight of my career," said Han, who last fought two weeks ago in Pennsylvania. "My opponent is aggressive and she'll come ready to fight."

Reyes lost her last fight via unanimous decision to Caroline Dubois in England. Dubois is ranked No. 1 in the world by the WBA in the lightweight division.

"I'll be back in the gym this coming week," Han said. "This is a big fight for my career and I'll have to be at my very best. My opponent went the distance with one of the best fighters at lightweight and that proves how tough she is."

The July 27 card will be promoted by King's Promotions and is scheduled to have El Paso prospects Jorge Tovar and Victor Aranda on the card.
