An inside look at the stage for the 2024 Democratic National Convention

The stage is set — literally — for the 2024 Democratic National Convention .

A total of 335 Texas delegates, according to the Texas Democrats , will join the thousands of visitors in Chicago to rally behind Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.

The United Center, home to the Chicago Bulls, has been transformed into a meticulously designed arena that took months of planning - all meant to be an interactive and immersive experience for the audience, said the Democratic National Convention .

“For over a year, you’ve heard our team say that we were building the literal and figurative stage for our nominees – well, now, it is my pleasure to report that the stage is built and ready to host an electric convention,” said Alex Hornbrook, Executive Director of the Democratic National Convention Committee.

The DNC is touting making the convention the most accessible in history, with an ADA-compliant ramp to provide direct access to the convention floor.

DNC Chicago dates

The DNC will start on Monday, Aug. 19 and end on Thursday, Aug. 22.
