Singer Billie Eilish mentioned recording songs in El Paso during an interview with late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

"We always find ourselves working in the most kind of random places," Eilish said. "We've recorded in like little hotels in El Paso."

The 22-year-old songwriter was on the show promoting her third studio album, "Hit Me Hard and Soft, " when she began talking about different places she's recorded: a back of an SUV in Brazil, among darkness inside a tour bus — and yes, El Paso.

"It's nothing that cool, but it's fun because it's so casual and normal," she said.

It wasn't clear during the interview which songs she recorded in the Sun City, but some El Pasoans may remember her guest appearance during Khalid's concert at the Don Haskins Center in 2018 .
