Southwest Airlines adds nonstop flight route between Albuquerque and Nashville in 2025

Southwest Airlines will add a new, direct route between Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Nashville, Tennessee, and flights are already available to book.

The nonstop flights will begin on April 8, 2025, though travelers can start booking flights as early as early June 2025.

Southwest Airlines recently opened a new flight crew base in the Music City, allowing for additional six nonstop routes to Nashville, according to a news release .

• Albuquerque, New Mexico
• Albany, New York
• Jackson, Mississippi
• Memphis, Tennessee
• Providence, Rhode Island
• Tulsa, Oklahoma

Does Southwest have assigned seats?

After 50 years of having open seating, Southwest Airlines announced back in July it would begin to assign seats and offer premium seating options on all flights.

Flights with seating assignments will begin in the second half of 2025 for travel in 2026.
