Five students complete summer internship with highway department

GOSHEN — Summer interns with the Elkhart County Highway Department gained valuable experience and made important contributions over the summer, officials said.

The five college-age men gave a report to the Elkhart County Board of Commissioners on Monday. The interns were Payton Fish, a Bethel University senior, Colten Martens, junior at Purdue Fort Wayne, Spencer Beane, sophomore at Purdue University, Cohen McGee, freshman at Olivet Nazarene, and Merrill Weddell, freshman at Heidelberg University.
