BROCKTON — The battle of which coffee shop has the best pumpkin spice in the area is officially over and we have a local winner.
Restoration Coffee , located at 564 Washington St., Whitman, took home the crown, winning The Enterprise poll for best pumpkin spice. And they credit the win to their fresh and never-frozen food, in-house roasted coffee beans and community atmosphere.
The business opened during COVID-19 and has made its mark in the Whitman community during a time of uncertainty. But the business has powered through adversity.
You can find your fall favorites, from the fall spice latte to a cinnamon raisin bagel topped with honey cinnamon cream cheese or even a simple iced coffee with all the fall-inspired fixings.

Additionally, customers can indulge in the pumpkin and maple syrup cold foam to add extra pizzazz and brighten their morning commute.
The business also has several vegan and gluten-free options to try.
"I think what makes us special compared to a Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks is the community we've fostered here in Whitman. We have regulars who come in. We already know their order, and they sit with their coffee and do their work. We have a great atmosphere here," Assistant Manager Ky Slayter said.
Every week, a team member comes in and roasts the coffee by hand, which gives it a unique flavor. Sometimes, plain coffee can have a bitterness to it, but not at Restoration Coffee.
"It tastes amazing by itself," she said.
The manager suggests newcomers try their fall specials and celebrate the start of the new season.
Pumpkin spice is one of their crowd-pleasers and a delight if you like pumpkin pie. The kicker is that pumpkin spice seasoning doesn't have pumpkin at all. It's a spice mix created to season pumpkin pie, and it includes cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and clove.
The flavor is very popular in the fall season as it transitions into winter. Nothing is better than grabbing a warm cup of pumpkin spice and watching the golden leaves fall to the ground.
