Salo Bar & Grill was voted the best Cape Verdean restaurant in Brockton by The Enterprise readers. The business prides itself on classic Cape Verdean dishes with a mix of American dishes. You can dig into dazzling entrees of grilled octopus, lobster smothered in butter and grilled steak with whipped potatoes and garlic. The restaurant is definitely giving the community a run for its money with its elegant décor, marble floors, soothing earthy tones, gold accents and unique food flavors. The cocktails are one of the best parts of the restaurant. I suggest trying the Sexy Criola, a classic lemon drop martini with a little island twist that makes you want more.

Some of the most popular dishes include butter chicken masala, malai curry and mango curry. The best part about being in a food court is there's virtually no wait for the food. It's already fresh and ready to go home with you. Turmeric House also has a location in Weymouth.
