The St. Mary’s County Caregivers’ Support Group will hold its next meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Garvey Senior Activity Center. The group is designed to be a safe space for caregivers to share their experiences and learn about resources and is open to caregivers of all types, including those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia, diagnosed with Parkinsons, recovering from a stroke, or experiencing other physical, cognitive or mental challenges. From Farm to Your Table: Farmers Feeding St. Mary’s will distribute free fresh produce and meat 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at U-Haul Moving & Storage, 46041 Signature Lane in Lexington Park. Crafts with Mimi — Fall Cascade Cards will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Loffler Senior Activity Center. Create two fall cascade cards full of fall designs. A cascade card, or zigzag, is fan folded to allow space to place embellishments of your choice and easily collapses to place in an envelope. Supplies provided. The cost is $10. Registration required. A men’s strength training boot camp will be held 11 a.m. to noon Thursdays from Sept. 12 through Oct. 10, at the Northern Senior Activity Center.
