    The St. Mary’s County Caregivers’ Support Group will hold its next meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the Garvey Senior Activity Center. The group is designed to be a safe space for caregivers to share their experiences and learn about resources and is open to caregivers of all types, including those caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or dementia, diagnosed with Parkinsons, recovering from a stroke, or experiencing other physical, cognitive or mental challenges.     R&B line dancing will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Loffler Senior Activity Center. Learn popular line dance steps to R&B songs.

    From Farm to Your Table: Farmers Feeding St. Mary’s will distribute free fresh produce to the community 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department, 46900 S. Shangri-La Drive in Lexington Park; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at U-Haul Moving & Storage, 46041 Signature Lane in Lexington Park. Frozen meat will be available at the Sept. 7 event.     A men’s strength training boot camp will be held 11 a.m. to noon Thursdays from Sept. 12 through Oct. 10, at the Northern Senior Activity Center. This series aims to enhance strength, mobility, and overall fitness and is tailored for seniors. The cost is $45. Registration required and opens Aug. 20.     Stepping On will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Sept. 17 at Calvert Pines Senior Center. The free evidence-based falls prevention program is designed to help avoid hazards and falls.
