    11 fun things to do this week in Greater Lafayette

    Euchre

    Mad Mushroom will host a euchre tournament from 7-9 p.m. at 320 W. State St., West Lafayette. This event repeats every Monday.

    Animation class

    Flourish Studio and Classroom will host an introduction to animation class from 4-5:30 p.m. at 514 N. Main St., Lafayette. Attendees will learn animation basics, digital tools, storyboarding and more. This event is primarily for those aged 11-15. Art supplies will be provided. Registration can be found online at flourishstudioandclassroom.com.

    Live music

    Nathan Graham, a blues, soul and rock artist, will perform with CoyoteBear at People’s Brewing Company and Taproom at 2006 N. 9th St. Road, Lafayette. Music begins at 7 p.m. and entrance costs $10. This event is for those over 21.

    Book group

    Tippecanoe County Public Library’s Wyandotte branch at 5542 E. 50 S., Lafayette, will host book discussions with various fantasy and sci-fi authors. This event begins at 6:30 p.m. and repeats on the third Tuesday of every month. No reservations are required.

    Sounds of Summer

    Hosted by the Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department, Sounds of Summer will take place on Memorial Island at 1915 Scott St., Lafayette, and feature food trucks and live music by The Prannies at 7 p.m.

    Resource fair

    Purdue’s Latino Cultural Center, Asian American and Asian Resource Cultural Center and Native American Educational and Cultural Center will host a resource fair at 915 5th St., West Lafayette. The festival will feature live performances and resource tables beginning at 3 p.m.

    Song bingo

    Brokerage Brewing Company will host song bingo from 7-10 p.m. at 2516 Covington St., West Lafayette. This event repeats every third Wednesday of the month.

    Mural festival

    The Arts Federation’s mural festival will begin Monday and end Aug. 29. The festival will celebrate Wabash Walls, a mural program across North Central Indiana focused on making Indiana a center for art. Events will be 8-11 a.m. at 638 North St., Lafayette.

    Art crawl

    Hosted by the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette, the Robert Pulley Art Crawl guides viewers through a 2-mile trail of West Lafayette and Lafayette to see public art installations by Pulley. The self-guided tour is available until Sept. 8. The event is free and open to all. The map can be found on their website, www.artlafayette.org.

    Vintage market

    Indiana Vintage Market will take place at Tippecanoe County Fairground at 1406 Teal Road, Lafayette, on Saturday. From noon to 5 p.m., attendees can shop from over 50 vendors selling vintage home goods, records, clothing and more. Tickets are $5 for general admission, $10 for early entry and free for kids under 12. Tickets can be found on Indiana Vintage Market’s Facebook and Instagram page.

    Flea market

    Valley Plaza’s flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Leaping Leopard Antiques at 2145 S. 4th St., Lafayette. This event will feature vendors and the shops at Valley Plaza, including Leaping Leopard Antiques, Hunt and Gather Home and Klassy Klutter Indoor Flea Market. This event is free and open to the public.
