20-year-old died in crash after hitting utility poles

Kaden Thomas Orr, 21, died in a car crash on Jackson Highway about 3:30 a.m. this morning.

There was only one car involved in the crash, according to a Tippecanoe County Coroner press release.

Orr was reportedly traveling fast on Jackson Highway when he ran off the right side of the road at a curve, striking utility poles and a fence, according to a press release from the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office. He was found at the edge of the road, West Lafayette police logs say.

A forensic autopsy has been scheduled for later this week and a joint investigation with the Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Department is ongoing, the Coroner's release said.
