Midwestern artist Robert Pulley has collaborated with the Greater Lafayette Museum Of Art for a “Greater Lafayette Sculpture Walk” featuring sculptures in seven locations. The two-mile walk starts at the West Lafayette City Hall and will take you downtown to the art museum with such stops as Tapawingo Park, the Tippecanoe County Courthouse and Lafayette City Hall.

Tippecanoe jail inmate's death ruled accidental
A Tippecanoe County Jail inmate who was found dead in the jail last month died of fentanyl and acetyl fentanyl intoxication, the coroner has ruled. No trauma or injury was found on Tameka Luckett, a 45-year-old from West Lafayette, during her autopsy, the coroner said in a news release Wednesday. Her death was ruled accidental.

ACLU of Indiana sues Purdue over intellectual diversity law
The ACLU of Indiana filed suit Tuesday against Purdue asserting that a new state law violates the First and Fourteenth amendments of the U.S. Constitution. Senate Enrolled Act 202, authored by Republican Sen. Spencer Deery, was signed into law by Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb in March. Deery said his aim in drafting the bill was to challenge “the hyper-politicization and monolithic thinking of American higher education institutions.”

IDEM: Tippecanoe Co. fish kill signals chemical leak
After the discovery of a large fish kill, IDEM is advising the public to stay out of the waters around Flint Creek in Tippecanoe County. On Sunday afternoon, IDEM Emergency Response was dispatched to a report of a significant number of dead fish in West Point, Indiana, after notification from conservation officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, according to a Monday news release.
