Downtown Hay and Person streets could be considered the epicenter of outdoor dining in Fayetteville. Several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a tea shop and a bakery all have patios. All you have to do is decide which strikes your fancy. Here are a few eateries to choose from:

Haymount restaurants with outdoor seating
Fayetteville’s historic Haymount neighborhood, located northwest of downtown, is home to at least two restaurants with patios. And while it’s not a restaurant, the Haymount Truck Stop brings two patios, a bar and a rotating roster of food trucks to Broadfoot Avenue.

Cross Creek Mall area restaurants with outdoor seating
Cross Creek Mall’s newest restaurant, Bahama Breeze, has 25 outdoor tables. The chain restaurant has a patio and a seating area with a small stage, televisions and a fire pit shielded by plexiglass. Nearby are a few other restaurants with outdoor seating along Skibo Road and in the Freedom Town Center.

Westwood Shopping Center restaurants with outdoor seating
The Westwood Shopping Center on Morganton Road is one of Fayetteville’s oldest shopping plazas, but its restaurants with outdoor seating are relatively new. It’s home to the original location of Bubba’s 33, a sister chain to Texas Roadhouse that started in 2013. The Friend’s Table opened at Fayetteville Pie Company’s old spot last year.

Along Glensford Drive are at least three restaurants with outdoor seating. Among them is La Perla, a Mexican restaurant serving up extravagant seafood platters. The restaurant’s opening in late 2022 caused a social media frenzy.
