The Black BBQ Cookoff returned to Fayetteville on Saturday for its third annual barbecue competition. Here’s a look at the winners:

• Overall champion: The 2-6-KA BBQ of Fayetteville

• Overall runner-up: In the Army Que of Charlotte

• Ribs category winner: Big Bear’s BBQ of Sumter, South Carolina

• Chicken category winner: In the Army Que

• Brisket category winner: Smokey Redd’s BBQ of Lexington, South Carolina

Hungry for more food fun this weekend? Check out the first Buggy Night event at The Buggy Factory up the road from Fayetteville in Carthage. From 6-9 p.m. tomorrow, the restaurant and bar hosts The Guy Unger Band on their outdoor stage for a family-friendly evening of music, dancing, food and drink. Bring a lawn chair or picnic blanket.
