    Fayetteville man identified as victim of fatal shooting last week off Ramsey Street

    Police on Tuesday released the name of a man shot and killed last week in a neighborhood off Ramsey Street near Country Club Drive.

    Anthony Douglas, 34, of Fayetteville, died at the hospital following the afternoon shooting Aug. 20 in the 200 block of Early Street, the Fayetteville Police Department said in a news release.

    Officers found Douglas with multiple gunshot wounds about 3 p.m., police said.

    His slaying is the 13th homicide investigation for the Fayetteville Police Department thus far this year. In the same time frame last year, there had been 33 homicide investigations.
