Thinking About Signing Up for ChatGPT Plus? Think Again?

You would think OpenAI would be ready for anything, right? Wrong! OpenAI suddenly had to suspend people's ability to sign up for ChatGPT Plus. This came after the unveiling of new features on November 6, 2023.

There was substantially more interest in these new features than OpenAI was ready for. The result was 6 straight days of outages, with one major outage taking ChatGPT offline for almost two hours. Needless to say, the usage far surpassed OpenAI's capacity to support the activity it received.

You may be asking, what features could be so fascinating that they literally broke the system? Here is a list of new features:

* Faster Chatbot

* The ability to make your own custom version of ChatGPT

* Fewer restrictions on how you can use ChatGPT

Up until the release of the new features, ChatGPT has been working seamlessly since its launch in February. Members could upgrade from the free plan to the $20/month Plus plan with premium features.

OpenAI is working hard to build out its framework to accommodate the massive influx of interest it has received. We will keep you up-to-date on when the Plus will be available for new memberships. Until then, the free version will still be available to ChatGPT users.
