There's no place like home ... right?

After a Week 1 loss, the Jacksonville Jaguars open Week 2 of the NFL football schedule against the Cleveland Browns , their first game at EverBank Stadium — wait, make that TrEverBank Stadium for this week. For the Jags, who blew a two-touchdown lead against the Miami Dolphins , it's a chance to avoid an 0-2 start against Cleveland. Keep scrolling for live updates and highlights from the game.

Quarterbacks are in the spotlight. Trevor Lawrence started Week 1 strongly for the Jaguars, including a highlight-reel touchdown to Brian Thomas Jr. , but the offense largely sputtered after halftime. Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson — along with his fully-guaranteed contract — is at the center of the storm amid the Browns' struggles on offense.

Jacksonville Jaguars post disaster performance at TrEverBank Stadium, fall 18-13 vs. Browns

It wasn't a joyful day at TrEverBank Stadium with the Jacksonville Jaguars dropping to 0-2 after an embarrassing 18-13 loss to the Cleveland Browns (1-1). Here are our quick takeaways. --Clayton Freeman

FINAL: Jaguars final drive comes up short: Trevor Lawrence throw to end zone incomplete

So close. A long pass from Trevor Lawrence to Brian Thomas Jr. advanced them to the 33 with 9 seconds to go and kept hopes alive. But Lawrence's throw to the end zone fell incomplete. The Jaguars are now 0-2.

    Browns 18, Jaguars 13. - -Clayton Freeman

Browns go three-and-out: Jaguars aren't done yet

That was weird: After Logan Cooke's short free kick was grabbed by Cleveland, the Browns ran twice and forced the Jaguars to burn their timeouts. Then, Deshaun Watson rolled out on third down and threw incomplete under pressure by Josh Hines-Allen, stopping the clock. The Jaguars will get the ball back after a punt, with no timeouts at their own 10. Browns 18, Jaguars 13, 1:27 4th. --Clayton Freeman

Safety: Alex Wright sacks Trevor Lawrence in end zone

That should do it. After Corey Bojorquez punted to pin the Jags down to their 2, Trevor Lawrence got sacked by Alex Wright at the back of the end zone. The Jaguars must kick off, and this one should be just about over.

    Browns 18, Jaguars 13, 1:44 4th. --Clayton Freeman

Two-minute warning: Browns face fourth down after multitude of penalties

Cleveland chewed up most of the clock, but not all of it. The Browns appeared to have the game wrapped up after a D'Onta Foreman run, but Foreman was flagged for offensive facemasking, and subsequent holding flags pushed Cleveland back into 3rd and 36. After fourth down, the Jaguars should get the football back, with a chance to win. Browns 16, Jaguars 13, 1:57 4th. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal Jaguars: After long drive, Cam Little converts 25-yard kick

The Jaguars are within three, but that feels like a missed opportunity. Tight ends Brenton Strange and Luke Farrell have been coming up big, catching passes from Trevor Lawrence as the Jags advanced to the 2. But Jacksonville was flagged for an illegal shift -- D'Ernest Johnson failed to reset after going in motion -- and the Jags got no closer. Cam Little converted a 25-yard field goal as Doug Pederson elected not to go for fourth down. Will they get the ball back?

    Browns 16, Jaguars 13, 7:32 4th. - -Clayton Freeman

Sack! Foye Oluokun downs Deshaun Watson, Jaguars D forces Browns punt

A sack by Foye Oluokun derailed that Cleveland drive. It leads to a punt and the momentum seems to be shifting more toward the Jags. Browns 16, Jaguars 10, 14:14 4th. --Clayton Freeman

End of third quarter: Browns 16, Jaguars 10

Just 15 minutes left. Can the Jaguars complete the comeback and return to .500? --Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Jaguars: Travis Etienne scores from 4 yards, brings Jags back into game

They've come back to life. Two plays after Brian Thomas Jr. made the game-changing catch, it's Travis Etienne into the end zone from 4 yards. This one is a ballgame again at TrEverBank Stadium.

    Browns 16, Jaguars 10, 1:11 3rd. --Clayton Freeman

Big play! Jaguars rookie Brian Thomas Jr. catches long bomb from Trevor Lawrence, gains 66

That's why the Jags took Brian Thomas Jr. in the first round. After the defense forced a Browns punt, Thomas went deep and Trevor Lawrence found him with a loooooooooong pass. A gain of more than 60, inside the 5. Fans will be seeing that highlight for a while to come. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal no good: Cam Little misses his first NFL kick for Jaguars

A negative milestone for rookie Cam Little, missing his first NFL field goal from 45 yards. Trevor Lawrence finally got a big play downfield, a 26-yard strike to Brenton Strange. But once the Jaguars got into the red zone, Myles Garrett strip-sacked Lawrence, and even though D'Ernest Johnson recovered, Little's missed kick meant the Jags' best drive in a long time came up empty. Browns 16, Jaguars 3, 5:48 3rd. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal Browns: Dustin Hopkins converts 44-yarder, after Antonio Johnson roughing-the-passer penalty

Another roughing-the-passer call on the Jaguars: Jeremiah Ledbetter bumped Deshaun Watson after a pass and Antonio Johnson then applied a push, which didn't appear hard but was enough to draw a 15-yard penalty. Just about everything continues to go wrong for the Jaguars, now outgained 213-74. Dustin Hopkins ended the possession with his third field goal.

    Browns 16, Jaguars 3, 10:20 3rd. --Clayton Freeman

Ugly drive: Jordan Hicks sacks Trevor Lawrence, Jags lose 7 yards in three plays

Loss of 2 yards on a run. Loss of 5 yards on a Jordan Hicks sack of Trevor Lawrence. Incomplete pass on a Parker Washington drop, on Lawrence's toss to the flat. It's getting uglier for the Jaguars. Lawrence is now 5 of 12 for 16 yards (11 net yards of passing offense). Browns 13, Jaguars 3, 12:36 3rd. --Clayton Freeman

Arik Armstead chases back for tackle on David Bell, Jaguars defense forces 3-and-out

That's the first defensive stop for the Jaguars today. Cleveland goes three-and-out, with Arik Armstead tracking back in coverage to stop David Bell short of the line to gain. A punt is coming. Trainers are attending to the Browns' Bell after that play. Browns 13, Jaguars 3, 14:38 3rd. --Clayton Freeman

Second-half kickoff: Browns open with the football

Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland O are back at work. The Browns lead the Jaguars 13-3 to begin the third quarter. --Clayton Freeman

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Tank Bigsby leaves game vs. Browns with shoulder injury

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby is questionable to return to the game against the Cleveland Browns with a shoulder injury, the team announced. Here's what happened. --Juston Lewis

    HALFTIME: Browns 13, Jaguars 3

Plenty of boos greet the Jaguars as they exit for halftime, outgained 195-81. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal Browns: Dustin Hopkins extends Cleveland lead

The Jaguars haven't shown signs of stopping Deshaun Watson from scoring yet. He's 11 of 15 for 108 yards. The key play this time came from Jerome Ford, taking the ball around end on fourth down for a gain of 36. Jacksonville kept Cleveland out of the end zone, but Dustin Hopkins made it a two-score game. Frustration continues for Jags fans.

    Browns 13, Jaguars 3, 0:27 2nd. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal Jaguars: Cam Little puts Jags on board, after longest-ever Trevor Lawrence run

Cam Little's field goal, from 22 yards, is just part of the story on that drive. Trevor Lawrence took off for a 33-yard run, longest of his NFL career, to advance to the 2. But the Jaguars had to burn their second timeout to avoid delay of game, lost 2 yards on a run, threw incomplete, had to burn yet another timeout to again prevent delay of game and missed on third down. The red-zone woes are far from gone, and Lawrence (16 passing yards today, completing 4 of 10) is looking frustrated.

    Browns 10, Jaguars 3, 4:44 2nd. --Clayton Freeman

What was that? Weird Browns penalty on new NFL kickoff rules bails out Jaguars, wipes out fumble

Bizarre moment. Jaguars return man Tank Bigsby was absolutely crunched on the kickoff, fumbling the ball, and Cleveland recovered. But... a flag was down, and it was a weird one. The Browns were penalized for an illegal formation under the new NFL kickoff rules, negating the entire play, because kicker Dustin Hopkins crossed the 50 too soon. Meanwhile, Bigsby was injured on the play. --Clayton Freeman

Field goal Browns: Dustin Hopkins converts from 53 yards after another long Deshaun Watson drive

Deshaun Watson's numbers right now? He's 10 of 13 for 98 yards and a rushing TD. Those numbers would be even higher if Amari Cooper hadn't dropped a wide-open pass around the Jacksonville 15. Still, Dustin Hopkins entered to make it a two-score game, converting a long field goal. Outgained 143-15 so far, the Jaguars have to find some life, fast.

    Browns 10, Jaguars 0, 9:52 2nd. --Clayton Freeman

End of first quarter: Browns 7, Jaguars 0

Yardage count: Cleveland 114, Jacksonville 15. --Clayton Freeman

Trevor Lawrence off target on second possession for Jaguars

Struggles are continuing for Trevor Lawrence. He threw toward a tightly-covered Gabe Davis on second down and nearly got picked off by Denzel Ward, then missed extremely high when targeting Davis on third down. Lawrence is 2 for 5 for 7 yards so far. Browns 7, Jaguars 0, 1:27 1st. - -Clayton Freeman

Touchdown Browns: After Devin Lloyd roughing-the-passer penalty, Deshaun Watson rushes from 1 yard

That wasn't what Jaguars fans wanted to see. Deshaun Watson, who struggled badly last week against Dallas, launched a 16-play, 89-yard drive that chewed up 9:14, capped with a 1-yard sneak. Keeping that drive alive: A disputed roughing-the-passer flag on Devin Lloyd on third down. The Jaguars thought they had Cleveland stopped in the red zone, but referee Adrian Hill's crew threw the flag on Lloyd. Officials judged that he either led with his helmet or drove Watson into the ground. An unpopular call with the home crowd at TrEverBank Stadium.

    Browns 7, Jaguars 0, 2:29 1st. --Clayton Freeman

Brian Thomas Jr. pumped up early amid pushing match with Browns' Martin Emerson, but Jaguars forced to punt

A little heated down there early. After Travis Etienne's rush up the middle picked up 6 yards, Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and Cleveland corner Martin Emerson exchanged two or three shoves for several seconds after the whistle. That fired up the crowd, and quarterback Trevor Lawrence. But after a third-down overthrow, the Jags ended up punting. Browns 0, Jaguars 0, 11:43 1st. --Clayton Freeman

Coin toss: Browns win ball and defer, Jaguars get football

Trevor Lawrence and the Jags will begin on offense at TrEverBank Stadium. --Clayton Freeman

Jaguars' Travis Etienne working through Dolphins' fumble, 'ebbs and flows' of NFL season

Travis Etienne is moving on from last week's fumble against Miami.

“It's unfortunate that that happened. I hate that it happened,” Etienne said from the locker room of the Miller Electric Center earlier this week. “But on the bright side, I got it out the way. And just don’t let it beat you again.” --Juston Lewis

Gene Frenette: Jacksonville Jaguars should be happy they won't see the old Deshaun Watson

    Jaguars vs Browns predictions

    Demetrius Harvey, Florida Times-Union : Jaguars 23, Browns 10

"Jaguars rebound at home. They're calling it TrEverBank Stadium this week, losing isn't really an option now."

    Gene Frenette, Florida Times-Union : Jaguars 23, Browns 13

"This is about as convenient a matchup in an otherwise difficult September schedule for the Jaguars. The Browns have significant attrition and not sure if both starting offensive tackles will be available. And with QB Deshaun Watson still in a post-Houston funk, the Jaguars should win this one fairly comfortably."

Vinnie Iyer, Sporting News : Jaguars 20, Browns 17

"The Browns looked sloppy with former Clemson QB Deshaun Watson vs. Dallas, while the Jaguars flashed before fading with former Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence vs. Miami. This can be another ugly game with two inconsistent passing games and two running games facing strong fronts. The edge goes to Lawrence, who has more reliable help with his weapons overall."
